Status of Mini-Symposium on "Recent Advances in A Posteriori Error
Estimators and Adaptive Analysis", for the 5th U.S. Congress on
Computational Mechanics to be held in Boulder, August 1999.

The following individuals have been invited to present papers:  I. Babuska,
J. Flaherty, M. Ainsworth, P. Ladevez, R. Bank, J. Peraire, T. Strouboulis,
and C. Duarte.

We have received acceptances, but no title or abstract from T. Strouboulis
and C. Duarte.  We have received a tentative acceptance from J. Peraire and
have had no response from J. Flaherty.  We have received an unsolicited
paper from Trond Kvamsdal.

The following persons have accepted and sent a title and abstract:
*Ainsworth:    " A Posteriori Error Estimation for Singularly Perturbed
Problems" by Mark Ainsworth.
*Babuska:    " The Guaranteed Upper and Lower Bounds for the Accuracy of
Computed Data of Interest by FEM" by I. Babuska and T. Strouboulis.
*Bank:    "A New Paradigm for Parallel Adaptive Meshing Algorithms" by
Randolph Bank and Michael Holst.
*Ladeveze:    "A Posteriori Local Error bounds for F.E. Linear Analysis"
by Pierre Ladeveze, Philippe Rougeot, and P. Blanchard.
