The Local Organizing Committee is responsible for the organization of the Congress. It includes five faculty from the College of Engineering of the University of Colorado at Boulder. Professors Farhat, Felippa and Park are in the Department of Aerospace Engineering Sciences whereas Professors Sture and Willam are in the Department of Civil, Architecture and Environmental Engineering.
