Bicycle Rental in Boulder

The most efficient and economical transportation mode around the University of Colorado campus and vicinity is by bicycle. The City of Boulder has developed an excellent system, perhaps the best in the USA, of bike trails and paths.

For example, it is possible to bike along Boulder Creek from the downtown area, passing through the campus, going beyond the Foothills Parkway through near 63rd St (a 6 mile ride) without any vehicular road crossings. Watch out, however, for joggers, skaters, dogs, and stray yuppies. (The average age of Boulder's population is 28; people dont get old here.)

There are plenty of bike racks throughout campus. Some hotels/motels provide bike storage; if you plan to rent or bring one please inquire.

These are bicycle rental places in Boulder. The BikeSmith is closest to the congress site area; Full Cycle is on the Hill (W of campus) whereas University Bicycles is downtown.
