Cardiovascular Simulation, Inc. (CSI) has an immediate opening for a Computational Engineer. CSI's is a small, highly-focused company dedicated to bringing computational methods to cardiovascular medicine and surgery practice. CSI has unique, proprietary technology for patient-specific modeling of blood flow in arteries. We are looking for an outstanding individual with strong expertise in computational fluid dynamics and finite element methods. The successful candidate will work to improve the accuracy, robustness and efficiency of CSI's blood flow solver and related technologies.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Computer/Computational Science, Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or related engineering or science discipline. Expertise in finite element methods and fluid mechanics are essential. Candidates are expected to be proficient with numerical modeling tools and should be able to work with software engineers, biomedical engineers, and clinicians. Candidates should be proficient in the FORTRAN, C and/or C++ programming languages. Candidates should have a strong academic record, and excellent writing and communication skills.
