The deadline to submit minisymposia proposals to WCCM9 to be held in Sydney, Australia, July 2010 has been extended to October 31.

 

NEBM2010 to be held in Houston, Texas, February 7-10, 2010.  Registration is now open; read here for more information.

Conferences

USACM Solicits Proposals for WCCM11 Site

 

The U.S. Association for Computational Mechanics plans to propose a site in the U.S. to hold the 11th World Congress on Computational Mechanics in 2014.  Members of the USACM in good standing may submit a short, one-page proposal to host the World Congress to the USACM EC.  If interested, send your proposal to info@usacm.org by November 16, 2009.  If selected by the Executive Council, a full proposal will be presented to the Executive Council of IACM in Sydney, Australia, July 2010.

USNCCM10 Held in Columbus, Ohio

The 10th U.S. National Congress, was held in Columbus, Ohio July 15-19, 2009. The Congress was a big success, having featured over 1200 presentations, as well as short courses over a period of three and a half days. A new addition to the Congress was a student poster session held during the first evening of the congress. Check out more pictures from the Congress located here.
