The Center for Predictive Engineering and Computational Sciences (PECOS)
at The University of Texas at Austin has openings for Post-Doctoral
Scholars to develop algorithms and techniques for stochastic modeling with
applications to calibration, validation, and uncertainty
quantification in turbulent combustion. Applicants are sought with a
solid background in adjoint analysis, solution of partial differential equations,
scientific computing, and numerical analysis. Experience in large-scale parallel code
development, and in modern software engineering practices is
essential. Applicants must have a Doctorate in Engineering, Applied
Mathematics, or a related field.
